Crafty Fox Market favs

Today I went to the Crafty Fox Market in Peckham, London to see the work and to get some inspiration from very talented designers/makers.

I've found two of my favourite designers/makers and bought what you can see on the photo. One of them is the cloud with the thunder necklace from i am acylic. And the other one is a brooch of the powerful woman - Frida Kahlo drawn by andsmilestudio. And finally, the beautiful woman on the portrait is me! Andsmilestudio made my portrait! It's so cute isn't it? If you want your portrait just check on her blog for the next markets where she'll be.

Hoje fui a um mercado chamado Craft Fox Market em Peckham, Londres para ver o trabalho e para obter alguma inspiração de alguns talentosos designers.

Encontrei dois dos meus designers favoritos e comprei o que podem ver na foto. Um deles é o colar com o trovão de i am acrylic. E o outro é um broche da poderosa mulher - Frida Kahlo desenhada por andsmilestudio. E finalmente a bonita mulher no retrato sou eu!  Andsmilestudio fez o meu retrato! Está tão fofinho não está? Morning Glory

This morning I made this delicious and very healthy pancakes. They contain one smashed banana, one whole egg, two egg whites and oats. I mixed them together and cooked them in a pan with a little bit of coconut oil. In the end I added a pinch of cinnamon powder and strawberries, and ready to eat!

Hoje de manhã fiz umas panquecas deliciosas e muito saudáveis. Elas contêm uma banana esmagada, um ovo inteiro, duas claras e aveia. Misturei tudo e cozi-as numa frigideira com um pouco de óleo de côco. No final adicionei uma pitada de canela em pó e morangos, e está pronto a comer!

Saturday's Breakfast - Superfoods

 

 

This breakfast is very simple and easy to do. I've cut a papaya in half, removed the seeds and added natural yoghurt, spirulina powder, chia and pumpkin seeds.

Why do I called it Superfoods? Because this breakfast contains nutrients that pack large doses of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that benefit our health. 

Spirulina is an algae and one of the most nutritious food on the planet, 65% of it's composition is protein. Also a good source of calcium and iron as well.

Chia is a plant and is one of the richest source of omega-3. In fact, it contains more omega-3 than the salmon.

Pumpkin seeds are a good source of magnesium. Actually one quarter of a cup contains nearly half of the recommended daily amount of magnesium. So lets eat so our heart, liver and immune system will be very happy!

Este pequeno almoço é muito simples e fácil de fazer. Eu cortei uma papaya a meio, removi as sementes e adicionei iogurte natural, spirulina em pó, sementes de chia e de abóbora.

Porque é que eu o chamei de Superalimentos? Porque este pequeno-almoço contém nutrientes com grandes doses de antioxidantes, vitaminas e minerais que são benéficos para a nossa saúde.

Spirulina é uma alga e é dos alimentos mais nutritivos do planeta, 65% da sua composição é proteína. É também uma fonte de cálcio e ferro.

Chia é uma planta e é uma das fontes mais ricas em omega-3. De fato, contém mais omega-3 que o salmão.

Sementes de abóbora são uma boa fonte de magnésio. Na realidade um quarto de uma malga contém quase metade da quantidade de magnésio que é recomendade diariamente. Por isso, toca a comer para que o nosso coração, fígado e sistema imunitário fiquem muito felizes!

I've learn how to do Pompoms and a headband in a art & crafts party. I think I didn't choose the best fabric (second picture) because it's falling apart. Ah! Ah! 

Eu aprendi a fazer Pompoms e uma coroa para a cabeça numa festa de artesanato. Eu acho que não escolhi o melhor tecido (segunda foto) porque o tecido está-se a desfazer! Ah!Ah!

This will be another necklace's design to sell online. I'm not selling them soon because I'm still thinking in new designs and trying to perfect my technique.

Workshop # 2

Layer Découpage was my second workshop done in Paperchase shop,Eventbrite (1) with "acraftyalternative" (2). This reminded me of my school time! I think I've done this before! This technique is simple and it can be easy if you practice more!

Layer Découpage foi o segundo workshop feito na loja Paperchase, Eventbrite (1) com "acraftyalternative" (2). Isto fez-me lembrar os meus tempos de escola! Acho que já fiz isto antes! Esta técnica é simples e pode ser fácil se praticada mais vezes.

Workshop # 1

 

Workshops are an excellent and interactive way to learn new creative techniques, explore the craft world and meet people from this business. Therefore I have to absorb as much information as I can to help me with my creations. I'll be posting pictures from the workshops I'll be doing.

Bamboo skewer house

This house was made with bamboo skewers, hot glue and green colored spray. Now I can decorate it with a small plant or hanging a photo.

Esta casa foi feita com paus de bamboo, cola quente e spray de côr verde. Agora posso decorá-la com uma pequena planta ou podem pendurar uma foto.
