That's true " At Christmas all roads lead Home " and I can't wait to go to Porto (Portugal)! I love this season, it's all about Family, Love and Happiness! ... and food lot's of good food.

É verdade "No Natal todas as ruas vão dar a casa" e estou ansiosa para ir para o Porto! Adoro esta estação do ano, é tudo acerca de Família, Amor e Felicidade! ... e comida, muita comida deliciosa.

             My Christmas tree is in my living room door and it's made with washi tape (japanese tape) and Christmas cards

A minha árvore de Natal está na porta da sala e é feita com fita washi (fita japonesa) e cartões de Natal

And Christmas is that season when I  have the tradition to send loads of Christmas cards to my family and friends - Makes me Happy!

E o Natal é a estação do ano que tenho a tradição de enviar muitas cartas de Natal para a minha família e amigos - Faz-me Feliz!

Work in Progress!

I've been trying to find some inspiration on the traditional Portuguese jewellery, "Coração de Viana", from Viana do Castêlo to do my own necklaces but it has not been easy! This is really a good exercise to my mind because I've been noticing that every time I'm doing this kind of work I get over excited and I lose my patience easily specially if the result is not what I thought. I have to learn that good works come with time. Therefore I have to continue drawing and drawing and one day Happiness will come! I hope! 

Eu tenho andado a tentar encontrar inspiração nas joias tradicionais portuguesas, "Coração de Viana", de Viana do Castêlo para fazer os meus próprios colares, mas não tem sido fácil! Isto é um exercício muito bom para a minha mente porque noto que sempre que faço este tipo de trabalhos fico ansiosa e perco a minha paciência com muita facilidade, especialmente quando o resultado não é o que esperava. Tenho que aprender que bons trabalhos vêm com o tempo. Portanto tenho que continuar a desenhar e desenhar e um dia a Felicidade vai chegar! Espero eu!,

I must Create!

After so long I've finally bought new material!!! I'm really doing small steps, but I'm looking for my own kind of necklace design. I have something in mind but it's still not original. However I better start from somewhere. It will take the time that I need in order to find my own kind of style. I MUST HAVE PATIENCE!!! Wish me luck!!!  

Passado tanto tempo finalmente comprei material novo!!! Estou mesmo a dar passos pequenos, mas estou à procura do meu próprio design de colares. Eu tenho algo em mente, mas não é original. Contudo, é melhor começar por algum lado. Eu vou levar o tempo que precisar para encontrar o meu próprio estilo. PRECISO DE  TER MUITA PACIÊNCIA!!! Deseja-me sorte!!!

Portuguese Sardines

These are my "Portuguese sardines"!!! They gave me a hard time and didn't end up the way I imagined them. In my head they were perfect! Ahahah! Well, I better keep trying and doing my best to maintain a 'Happy Soul'!

Estas são as minhas Sardinhas Potuguesas!!! Elas deram-me muito trabalho e não ficaram como eu imaginei. Na minha cabeça eram perfeitas! Ahahah! Bem, é melhor continuar a tentar a fazer o meu melhor para manter a "Alma Feliz".
